Yemen Mainland & Saudi Arabia
Beyond Socotra—onward into the Red Sea and the deserts of western Saudi Arabia.
Socotra journeys usually end in Jeddah—and Jeddah is the gateway to western Saudi Arabia. So both Saudi journeys are designed to continue straight on from the island: we gather in Jeddah on the day your Socotra trip ends, travel eight days and seven nights, and return on the same weekday the following week.
The two Saudi lines share the same rhythm: gather the day your Socotra journey ends, eight days and seven nights, return the same weekday the following week.
The Wilderness of Wonders
Jeddah · Tabuk · Wadi Disah · AlUla
A desert wilderness shaped by the hand of nature. From Jeddah on the Red Sea, through Tabuk and the Hisma desert, three full days inside the red canyons of Wadi Disah, and on to the rock formations of AlUla. Coast, desert, canyon and oasis unfold one after another, planned around the rhythm of sunrise and sunset.
The Red Sea Luxury Line
Jeddah · Six Senses · Shebara · Desert Rock · Banyan Tree AlUla
The same eight days, built around where you sleep. From Jeddah to Six Senses where the Red Sea meets the dunes, then to the flying-saucer villas of Shebara, on to Desert Rock set into the cliffs, and finally Banyan Tree AlUla. The landscape still runs coast, desert, canyon—only the rooms keep changing.
The Yemen mainland, beyond Socotra
Beyond Socotra lies another thread: the historic towns and the Hadramawt canyons of the Yemen mainland. These three journeys stitch island and mainland into one trip—fly from Jeddah to Socotra, then hop to the Arabian Sea port of Mukalla and travel through the Hadramawt to Wadi Doan and the mud-brick city of Shibam, finishing in Seiyun, or crossing the coast into Oman at Salalah. A small, hard-edged expedition that takes in the best of Yemen while keeping clear of the conflict zones; a Yemen mainland visa is required.

Good to know
- A Yemen mainland visa is required: a Socotra island permit alone does not allow travel on the mainland.
- All flights are separate, non-through tickets. If an earlier flight is delayed, the airline bears no responsibility for onward flights or losses.
- Local conditions can change road access, accommodation and site openings at short notice; only licensed local ground operators can arrange this.
- Your guide may adjust the order of days and sites to suit season, weather, roads and camp conditions.
All three share the same shape: Socotra first, then a flight to Mukalla and the Yemen mainland. They differ in length and in where they end, and can be joined to our Socotra group departures.
Yemen & Hadramawt World Heritage
Jeddah · Socotra · Mukalla · Wadi Doan · Shibam · Seiyun
Eight days and three Yemeni World Heritage sites, nature and culture in one. Fly from Jeddah to Socotra for the tented camps of the otherworldly island, then hop to the Arabian Sea port of Mukalla and travel through the Hadramawt to the cliffs of Wadi Doan and the mud-brick city of Shibam, finishing in Seiyun and flying home via Cairo.
Socotra & Yemen World Heritage · 11 Days

Socotra & Yemen Southeast to Oman · 14 Days
